The Environmental Services Laboratory provides the private and public sectors with reliable, unbiased, precise and accurate water testing results in a timely manner. As part of Nova Scotia Health Authority and in affiliation with the Department of Health, we strive to provide accessible services for a healthy and safe environment. This laboratory is accredited through the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA).
To ensure same day processing, samples for microbiology testing must be received by the water testing laboratory, room 521, Mackenzie Building no later than 3 p.m. Microbiology samples delivered after 3 p.m.on Friday will not be processed.
