Diversity Award Criteria

This award is open to a team or individual who demonstrates the following: 
  • Nominee’s work must clearly enhance/support workplace diversity and inclusion
  • Nominee’s work contributes to the implementation of the Diversity and Inclusion Framework through raising awareness and educating team members in a way that promotes cultural competence and inclusivity
  • Nominee’s work includes a leadership role in the development and implementation of a diversity and inclusion program or initiative that supports the delivery of equitable health services and/or promotes an equitable workplace that is respectful and free from discrimination
 
Note: Teams may be a mix of employees  and external colleagues as long as they are noted to be working together for a common purpose or outcome on either a temporary or permanent basis directly related to the mission or core business of Nova Scotia Health
