Group Patient Education
Group patient education is a session that involves a group of patients and/or caregivers receiving health care education virtually. Group patient education sessions may be:
Self-referred or voluntary group patient education: Health care providers are not required to register patients. Patients can choose to attend these sessions as it relates to their health and wellness.
Referred group patient education: Health care providers are required to register patients. Patients are required to attend as part of their care plan.
