Dartmouth General Hospital Rehabilitation & Supportive Care Services Program

The Dartmouth General Hospital Rehabilitation and Supportive Care Services Program is an interdisciplinary group of clinicians who work collaboratively with other members of the health care team at the Dartmouth General Hospital.

We work with patients in all areas of the hospital including the Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care, Acute Care, Transitional Care and Dialysis.

The Rehabilitation and Supportive Care Team at DGH strives to provide excellence in person centered care through interdisciplinary evidence-based practice. We are committed to empowering our clients, their families, our colleagues and our diverse communities through a holistic (mental, physical, emotional, social and spiritual), collaborative and informed approach to health and wellness.

Vision:

Optimize the Health of Our Diverse Community the right care, in the right place, at the right time. The Therapeutic Assistant service is present across all sites. Therapeutic assistants work with the interprofessional inpatient team in carrying out aspects of individual treatment supporting the patient care plan.
