Capital Health is dedicated to supporting our employees in continuing their education. We have several programs and courses available. 

Our Leadership Development program recently won a national award for its bold steps to improve Canada, through advancements in public policy and management.

The Skills Centre is a multidisciplinary training facility for health care trainees and professionals in Atlantic Canada.

Our Health Sciences Library provides an abundance of educational resources for all Capital Health employees.

Professional Practice Development's mandate is to promote accountable professional practice in quality practice environments, facilitate patient and family centered care, foster collaborative team relationships and support research and evidence-based practice. 

The Registered Nurses Professional Development Centre offers continuing education programs to provide nurses with the knowledge and clinical foundation for professional practice in a specialty nursing setting.
