Guidelines & Resources

The Diabetes Care Program of Nova Scotia (DCPNS) works closely with its partners to support diabetes care providers as well as the Nova Scotia health system at large in planning the most effective and appropriate care for persons with diabetes/prediabetes. Rapid advances in the medications and technological devices used to treat diabetes make it challenging for diabetes care providers to stay current and to keep abreast of best practice approaches. The guidelines and resources produced by the DCPNS are developed as the result of an identified need in Nova Scotia and are designed to meet the needs of Nova Scotia health care providers.
