Get Tick'd Off

There are many kinds of ticks in Nova Scotia, but a certain type of tick, called blacklegged ticks (also called deer ticks), can carry the bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi, that cause Lyme Disease. There have been 67 confirmed & probable cases of Lyme disease in Nova Scotia since 2002.

So, if you or your pets spend any time outdoors, get tick’d off and Protect yourself.
