Rooms & Services
We make every effort to make sure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible. Patients requiring semi-private or private rooms for medical reasons always have priority; however, private or semi-private rooms may be available on request.
Room types
Private room: $160 per day - Includes one bed, one washroom and a private telephone.
Semi-private room: $130 per day - Includes two beds separated by curtains, one washroom and two telephones with a shared phone number.
Ward room: Covered under your provincial health card -Includes four beds (separated by curtains), a washroom and four telephones (the phone number is shared by two patients).
Space in our private and semi-private rooms is limited. The sooner we have your insurance information the more likely we are to be able to accommodate your request.
When the booking clerk calls with your hospital admission date, let them know you are interested in a private or semi-private room.
When you are admitted, be sure to have your private insurance card with you and let the admitting clerk know you have requested a private or semi-private room.
Know your coverage
Check with your private insurance company to find out what you are covered for.
If you don’t have insurance and you request a private or semi-private room, you will be responsible for the cost of the room.
If you don’t have insurance, or are unable to provide proof of insurance, you may be asked to pay a deposit for the expected duration of your stay up to five days.
Some insurance companies may place restrictions on private or semi-private room coverage. It is your responsibility to know what your insurance plan covers.
Please note: Our private rooms are in high demand. If we do not have one available upon request we may need to place you in a semi-private room until a private room opens up.
Quick tip: Most insurance plans do not cover a private or semi-private room at a rehabilitation facility. If your treatment requires that you spend time in a rehabilitation facility, please make sure your insurance will cover the extra cost. You will be responsible for any costs not covered by your insurance plan.
For patients contacted by mail, please complete the Hospital Accommodation Requested section of the pre-admission questionnaire.
