Mobile Outreach Street Health
Health care delivered where you are.
What is Mobile Outreach Street Health (MOSH)?
MOSH is a Capital Health Primary Health Care initiative with the North End Community Health Centre. MOSH provides accessible primary health care services to people who are homeless, insecurely house, street involved and underserved in our community. The MOSH team is a collaborative primary health team of full-time nurses, a part-time occupational therapist, support from physicians at the North End Community Health Centre, and part-time administrative support.
Shelters and organizations that support people who are homeless, insecurely housed or work on the street provide space for regular visits of the outreach team, and promote the service. People who have had past experience with homelessness, insecure housing or working on the street, or are currently homeless, insecurely housed or work on the street act as consultants to ensure the service meets the needs of those it was designed to serve.
To donate to the MOSH program, please visit the North End Community Centre online donation page at Canada Helps.
