Update on Bethune Access

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 - 3:58pm

Access to Bethune offices affected by flooding

Further access to affected areas of Bethune is pending air quality testing. We expect to have more information tomorrow.

Stairwells and entrance

For those working in unaffected areas of Bethune, please:

  1. Avoid using stairwells in the east wing between the basement and fifth floor, except in case of emergency.
  2. Do not use the entrance on the east side of the building (closest to South Park Street).

Phone lines and faxes

As a result of flooding in Bethune, some phone lines and fax lines throughout the VG are not working. Bell Aliant experts are on site and are working to resolve these issues.

If your phone or fax line has been affected, please contact Voice Services at voice.services@cdha.nshealth.ca or (902) 473-7000. Please provide the seven-digit number of the phone or fax affected, as well as its specific location (room number, building, site). If your fax has been affected, Voice Services can arrange to have faxes forwarded to a different fax machine.

If you have already reported your phone or fax issue by email or phone, there is no need for you to do so again.

Retrieving voicemails

Voicemails can be retrieved from any phone, even at home. Call (902) 473-8000; you will be prompted for your mail box number, which is your seven-digit phone number (473-xxxx) plus #, and then your password plus #.
