Parking spots near Dickson to change to two-hour patient parking effective Dec. 9, 2013

Capital Health Parking Services, operated by Partners for Care, is working to address the parking challenges patients and families face when they come to the VG site of the QEII.

Effective Dec. 9, the parking spots between the James and Edna Claydon Radiation Treatment Centre and the Maintenance Building, as well as those behind the Centre for Clinical Research and those behind the Dickson Building will change to two-hour parking from all-day parking.

For staff and physicians seeking parking near the VG site, there are several options, noted below.

Monthly Parking

  • IMPARK - 5846 South Street, Halifax
  • Target Park - 1333 South Park Street (Park Victoria Building) - $100 per month plus tax. For more information, please contact cody@targetpark.ca

Daily Parking

  • IMPARK - South Street - $1.30 per half-hour or part thereof and $10.50 daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Target Park - Behind Park Victoria, enter from Clyde Street. Open lot. Daily maximum of $8.
