eHealth team helps decorate Veterans Memorial Building for holidays

Tuesday, December 3, 2013 - 12:51pm

The Veterans Memorial Building is looking a little more festive after several members of the Finance & eInformation Management team spent the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 2 decorating the lobby. Staff members also decorated the security desk and several trees throughout the VG and HI sites. Decorating in the public spaces around Capital Health is coordinated through Volunteer Services.

"Our portfolio is diverse as we have people from finance, health information services and IT services. We were looking for a team building event that could help break the ice among our groups," said Stephanie LeBlanc, manager applications and controls, Finance & eInformation Management.. She added that the team set a strategic priority of "strengthening the team" for their porfolio this year.

"With Christmas upon us we thought that decorating the facilities would give us a way to do our team building and an opportunity to connect with our patients and their families," said LeBlanc.
