Nurses Helping Nurses Fund

The Nurses Helping Nurses Fund Committee (NHNFC) is a committee of your peers and co-workers working together to aid in the financial assistance of each qualified applicant. Each year the NHNFC grants a variety of financial awards to Capital Health RNs and LPNs who are continuing their education in a nursing or health related program.

The Gillian MacMichael Endowment

The purpose of the fund is to educate interdisciplinary health care professionals in Nova Scotia regarding palliative care, via such mechanisms as: Annual Bursaries and Sponsored Lectureship. Read more. . .  

NHN Continuing Education Fund

If you are an RN or LPN working for Capital Health and are enrolled in a university degree related to your field of practice such as a Masters or BN/BSCN, you are eligible to apply for the NHN Continuing Education Fund. 

NHN Bursary Fund

The NHN Bursary Fund is in place to assist Capital Health RN's and LPN's further their nursing education with programs excluding a Master's or BN/BSCN. 

Note: Certification and re-certification are not eligible for this fund.

Gail Martell-Denne Memorial Bursary

The Gail Martell-Denne Memorial Bursary is an annual award of $500.00 to provide financial assistance to  Capital Health RN's and LPN's furthering their education as either a full or part-time student.
