Research Development

At the Nova Scotia Health Authority, Research Development is responsible for developing strategies for future growth, increasing research revenue and developing funding partnerships with industry and government. These responsibilities are carried out within the context of creating and capturing synergies with clinical services and in a manner that nurtures relationships with academic stakeholders and partners.

At the operational level, Research Development is responsible for identifying and supporting research groups in their pursuit of major research funding opportunities. This is done through supporting grant application development, award contract management, and project management.
