PET (Positron Emission Tomography) is a test that uses special medical isotopes to help the doctor assess and plan treatment of certain medical conditions.

PET scans are non-invasive and a full scan takes about three to four hours on the same day. This includes the patient’s interview and waiting times.

It is very important patients review consent forms before coming for a PET Scan.
