The Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, located in the heart of Halifax, is the region’s main teaching hospital (affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Professions at Dalhousie University) and is a hub of research and innovation. The QEII provides medical and surgical care to residents of the Capital Health District, and specialist care to adults from across the Maritimes.
