Addiction Prevention and Treatment Services (APTS) helps people make healthy lifestyle choices. We offer assistance for individuals who want to reduce their harmful involvement with - or abstain from - substances or gambling. Are you concerned about your own, or a loved one's, use of alcohol or other drugs and/or gambling? Are you seeking help for an addiction? Do you need help in learning how to cope with a loved one's addiction or how to support him or her in recovery? Are you looking for support during your own recovery?
APTS can help! We offer counselling, others affected groups, recovery and relapse groups, inpatient Withdrawal Management (Detox) programs, a structured residential treatment program and more.
Making the kind of changes it takes to overcome a harmful involvement with alcohol, other drugs and/or gambling takes time. We help individuals think about change and support them in making healthy choices. Each person’s path is different.
